Locals Lounge

Welcome to the Locals Lounge – your meeting place for Jay-CS locals, Trading Card Game (TCG) tournaments and release events in Vienna. Here, the community plays One Piece, Pokémon, Digimon, Dragon Ball, Gundam, Riftbound, and more – from relaxed casual rounds to intense top-level matches. Come by, meet new people, trade a bit and play some games.

Choose your game, filter by releases or tournaments and join the event. Please register for the event, even if you're "probably" coming – this helps us tremendously with planning the number of players, tables, rounds and any goodies/pricing. The better the registrations, the smoother the evening will run for everyone.

How do I register for an event?

Choose your game, click on the appropriate event and register .

Even if you are "probably" coming: Registering helps us massively with tables, rounds, pairings and planning – and gives others the chance to move up if places become available.

Why is registration so important?

In short: To make the evening run more smoothly for everyone.

The better we can estimate the number of players, the better the organization, start time, round planning and, if applicable, prizes/goodies will work.

What if I can't come after all? (No-Show)

No stress – we are generally accommodating .

But please: cancel your registration in good time so that we can free up your spot and other players can take your place.

If no-shows become excessively frequent and cooperation is not possible, we must act decisively (for the sake of fairness to everyone).

I'm late – what happens?

We can almost always absorb a few minutes of delay.

But if you're too late , you'll lose a game in round 1 .

Tip: If you realize time is running short – let us know briefly, so we know.

What does participation cost, and is there a participation fee?

That depends on the event. You can find entry fees, pricing, and all details either directly in the respective event description, in our WhatsApp groups, or on-site.

Where do the events take place?

Location and detailed information can be found on the page or in the respective event description.

If you're unsure: quickly check the event – the current status is always there.

What games and formats do you play?

In the Locals Lounge you will find events for various TCGs (e.g. One Piece, Pokémon, Digimon, etc.).

The format (Casual, Tournament, Sealed/Constructed etc.) is always listed directly with the respective event.

How does an event proceed (check-in, start, schedule & duration)?

It's super easy: register via the app → show up → pay → play

The start time is always listed in the respective event description. On site there's a short check-in/organization session, then the pairings are announced and it begins.

The duration depends on the number of participants and the format (e.g., BO1 vs. BO3 , Swiss only vs. Top Cut ). It's best to plan in some extra time – then it will be stress-free.

Do I need a decklist?

Only at larger tournaments or when it's necessary for the format.

If a decklist is needed, this will be clearly stated in the event description – no surprises.

Are spectators allowed, or are friends allowed to come along to chill?

Yes, absolutely!

Spectators and friends are welcome – as long as there's enough space and the games aren't disrupted. Please just be considerate of the matches (and no coaching calls from the sidelines 😉).

Local trading – are there any rules?

Yes – trading is great, but please be fair and respectful .

No scam, no pressure, no drama. And: no sales stands / no "mini-shop within the shop" .

If anything seems strange or there is any stress, please let us know – we'll make sure that everything remains relaxed for everyone.

When will the Locals Lounge be updated?

The Locals Lounge is updated every Friday at 00:00 .

So if you're looking for new dates: just drop by on Saturday morning.
